Spanish Conjugations

Spanish Conjugations is a practice site I built for Spanish 1 and 2.

It drills present-tense verbs inside real sentences and quizzes noun genders, checks every answer instantly and shows how the right answer is built.

I built it for my own Spanish class and kept it to a single page with no sign-up, so practice starts the moment it loads.

Verbs in real sentences

Conjugation tables are easy to memorize and hard to use, so every card puts the verb in a sentence. It gives the verb, its meaning and a sentence with a blank, like 'Yo ___ a mi mamá con un regalo,' with the English underneath. I type the conjugation and press Enter. It accepts answers with or without accents, then shows the stem plus the ending, sorprend + o, so the rule sticks. Filters switch between -ar, -er and -ir verbs, and a cheat sheet with every present-tense ending is one tab away.

Noun genders, one tap each

Noun mode shows a word and its meaning and asks for the gender: masculine, with el and un, or feminine, with la and una. The deck has 1,014 nouns, and I left out the ones that trip up beginners for the wrong reasons, like feminine words that take el, such as el agua, and words whose meaning changes with their gender.

Noun mode in Spanish Conjugations: 'la película' (movie) with Feminine selected and the feedback 'Correct! la película'.
